Memory Fireworks Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I still buy fireworks from you after the Fourth of July season?

No, unfortunately fireworks sales are only legal in North Dakota from June 27 – July 5 every year, and Dec. 26 – 31 for New Year’s Eve.  However, if you are a not a North Dakota resident and have a valid drivers license from another state, you can purchase fireworks year-round.  Please e-mail us to set up a time to meet.

Can I buy Memory Lanterns after the Fourth of July season?

Yes! Lanterns are not technically fireworks so please contact us if you are interested in purchasing lanterns for events, weddings or holidays outside the fireworks season.

Can I buy fireworks from you for a wedding, family reunion or special occasion after the Fourth?

You can buy Memory Lanterns outside the June 27 – July 5 season, but all other fireworks are only legal during that period of time.  If you are an out of state resident, you can purchase fireworks at any time.  Please e-mail us for more information on out of season sales.

Is there a phone number I can call for help/info/assistance/questions?

Not all of our locations have land lines and cellphone use can vary from fireworks season to season.  The one sure way to reach us is to e-mail us — we’ll always get back to you within two business days.

What is your policy on refunds for items that didn’t work?

We’ll be happy to replace the item with one that is the same or equal value.  Please bring the defective fireworks in so we can replace it for you and ensure that this doesn’t happen again.  We strive to always provide you with the best quality fireworks.

I’m interested in operating a Memory Fireworks location. What do I do?

We look for high quality managers who know a lot about fireworks, have experience in management and are willing to work long hours between about June 24 – July 8. If you’re interested, please contact Memory Fireworks owner Braun Knutson or Fargo manager Ron Knutson at [email protected], or e-mail us from this website.
